Finnfacts newsletter in a different form

Finnfacts has been publishing news about Finnish companies and innovations in different languages and different forms since 1960. With the transformation of the media field and environment, the time for a change has come once again and the December edition will be the last Finnfacts newsletter. The news operations will not, however, come to and end; from the turn of the year we will be transferring to publishing the Good News from Finland online service, which will offer up-to-date news every weekday in Finnish and English at www.goodnewsfinland.com.

The aim of the Good News from Finland online service is to remind us of the positive things happening in the Finnish economy and society, things that in many instances do not receive the attention they deserve in the media. The service will focus on news about companies, the economy and innovations, but others subjects will not be ignored.

In addition to the news published daily, there will be a Theme of the month article that will go into a subject of current interest, a Viewpoint column highlighting the views of various Finns in the know, an events-in-Finland column and a collection of entertaining video clips about Finland.

We would like to thank all our readers for supporting the Finnfacts newsletter and we hope that you will enjoy reading Good News from Finland. Dive into the good-news world at www.goodnewsfinland.com.

Those who have subscribed for the Finnfacts newsletter have been transferred automatically to subscribe for the English-language Good News from Finland newsletter, which will appear once a week. The order can be cancelled at any time by following the instructions mentioned in the newsletter or by sending an email to the address palaute.finnfacts@tat.fi.
