The S Group posts a good first-half trend in sales and earnings
In January-June, the S Group's retail sales grew by 9 per cent compared with the corresponding period a year before. Sales by the grocery trade rose by 8.8 per cent. In the same period, the S Group posted aggregate profit before extraordinary items of EUR 162 million. The cooperative enterprises gained 55,500 new customer-owners in the first part of the year.
