Information about Finnfacts’ online service

The website www.finnfacts.fi is aimed at Finnfacts’ customers, co-operation partners and stakeholder representatives. The site contains information about, e.g. the services offered by Finnfacts, such as upcoming media tours and online publications. If you cannot find the service you are looking for, contact us.

Finnfacts is a free online service.

The website is available in the following language versions: Finnish, English, French, German, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Italian and Japanese. The language can be changed via the drop-down menu on the top right of the page or by clicking the links at the bottom of the page.

Finnfacts uses the WordPress open-source content management system. The Finnish Economic Information Office’s Digital Team and Finnfacts’ web communications department are responsible for the system set-up.

How to find the content you are looking for

The main menu containing Finnfacts’ services and products is listed in the bar at the top of the page, and each tab in the bar opens up to the front page of that section. The contents of each section are contained in the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the page. The breadcrumb trail at the top of each section tells you exactly where you are within the service. You can also use the breadcrumb trail to navigate through the service. You can look for content in the main menu or site map, or you can do a search.

A new browser window will open up when a link leads to the online services of another organisation. Links within Finnfacts’ service will open up in the same window. The web service is designed to work with the most common web browsers.

In order to view or print a PDF file, you can upload Adobe Reader for free. In order to view or print Microsoft Office files, you can upload the OpenOffice program for free.

Using the service

The user is obligated to use the service in an appropriate manner and in compliance with the law. The user is fully liable for all and any damage caused to the service provider, to another user of the service or to a third party as a consequence of using the web service in a manner contrary to the law or contrary to good practices.

Finnfacts does not disclose information about its users to third parties.

Finnfacts’ website may be linked freely to other non-commercial websites. Finnfacts’ website contains links to co-operation partners according to the principle of reciprocity. Finnfacts is not responsible for the content or activities of the websites to which it has links.

Finnfacts does not guarantee that the contents of a website are suited to a particular purpose, nor is it responsible for possible damage that the usage of the contents of a website might cause.
